Kill Bill vol. 1

I watched Kill Bill vol. 1 with Misaki at the library. I didn’t know the story, but I have heard it is not interesting. I thought it is boring. This movie was written by Quentin Tarantino in 2003.

In the beginning of this movie, a woman who was injured was lying on the floor. She wore a wedding dress, but she was hit by someone. She who is played by Uma Thurman is a hit man of a hit men’s organization. The name is The Bride. She was attacked before her wedding. Her boss is Bill, and he killed her husband and baby. We were afraid when we watched the beginning.

She swore that revenge members who killed her husband and baby. She visited Vernita Green who plays Vivica A. Fox. She is maybe an African American, and she had a daughter. The Bride hit her suddenly when Vernita Green opened the door. Both The Bride and Vernita Green fought hardly in the house. Shelves were broken; ornaments of glass were broken, too. They had knives each other, and they killed each other, but Vernita’s daughter got back home. They hid their knives behind their body. Vernita said The Bride is a friend of hers, and they have not seen for a long time, but the girl doubted them because they were bleeding from their forehead. The girl didn’t climb the stairs, so Vernita prompted to climb it. They broke off, so they went to the kitchen. Vernita started to prepare for her daughter’s cereal, but a gun was put in its box! The Bride dodged this bullet, and she killed Vernita by a gun by contraries. Vernita’s daughter saw this scene; The Bride didn’t notice her presence. She said to her if she will intend to kill The Bride, she will be waiting her, and then she left the house by yellow car.

The Bride had slept for 4 years in hospital. She suddenly woke up, but two men came to her room, so she made a pretense to sleep. One man was a doctor, another man was customer, and this doctor sold her to another man. She realized that she was dangerous, so she killed the man, and then she would escape from there, but her knees were frozen because she had not walked for 4 years. She would escape by using her arms, but the doctor came there. She cut his Achilles tendon behind him, and she asked him where Bill was because she remembered he was a member of the organization, but he answered he didn’t know. She nipped his head in the door and wall again and again, and he died. She robbed his car’s key, and she rode the car. She waited for her knees were moved, and she drove the car. She went to Okinawa to meet Hattori Hanzo who is played by Sonny Chiba before she kills O-Ren Ishii who is played by Lucy Liu in Tokyo. She wanted a Japanese sword; Hattori Hanzo was an expert of making Japanese swords. He already dropped out it, but he made great Japanese sword for The Bride. She spoke short Japanese sentences, they were good I thought. She got it, and then she left to Tokyo. O-Ren Ishii’s parents were killed by gangsters when she was a child. She swore that she revenge them! She killed the boss of gangsters when she was 13 years old. She was a boss of gangsters in Kanto. She was severe, so a man, who disobeyed her, was killed her without mercy. She had many limbs. Gogo Yubari who is played by Chiaki Kuriyama was one of the members. The Bride found O-Ren’s secretary first. O-Ren and other members went to a restaurant to eat something. The Bride followed them, and she went to the rest room, and then O-Ren’s secretary also went to the rest room. She called someone, so The Bride took her as a hostage, and she called O-Ren Ishii. The Bride suddenly cut the secretary’s right arm! The Bride and O-Ren’s members fought in the restaurant. Everyone was cut by The Bride. Second, Gogo Yubari came to her; she used a weapon of chain with cutter. First, she was superior, but it was turned face about by The Bride. Finally, Gogo was killed by her, too. At least, O-Ren Ishii and The Bride came on the restaurant’s garden to settle this fight. They had Japanese swords, and they fought with them. The end result of it, The Bride won. She cut top of O-Ren’s head! This movie continues to vol. 2, so I didn’t watch a figure of Bill.

I don’t think that this movie is good because there are many scenes of homicide. I was very scary! Sometimes, I couldn’t watch squarely. My stomach was disgusting, and I felt dizzy by it. I have vol.2 and Bill my mind, but I don’t feel like watch this movie.
