TOURISM
I read a book about tourism. Many Japanese travel domestic places or abroad. Tourism is one of biggest industry now. It is different from travel. Traveler go there it do business, visit to their family or friends or have holidays. Travel is a part of tourism.
There are some kinds of tourism. For example, Activity holidays, Eco-tourism, Back- packing and Tourist attractions and so on.
First, some people travel to enjoy activities. I want to challenge to ski or marine sports. I like to do sports, but I want to do some sightseeing!!
Second, I didn't know "Eco- tourism". Do you know it? 'Eco- tourism' seems new word. This tour means learning about different cultures or environments. 'Eco- tourism' appears to be more popular!! I didn't think that people learn about cultures or environment, but I think that it is good idea. Surely, we can learn many things that we cannot learn in sightseeing.
Third, Backpackers like to travel on the Grand Tour. I think back- packs are heavy!! They usually stay cheap hotels called "youth hostels". I knew it, but I didn't know it for back- packers.
Finally, theme parks, famous natures are tourist attractions. Speaking of tourism or traveling, I think them.
Tourism is changing. The day we can go space is coming soon!!, but many places are dirtied by people. We should maintain clean environments!!
I think I want to go to foreign countries while I am student!! I am planning go to France, Guam and South Korea!!
